Overall

I came here being 17 weeks pregnant needing immediate accessable medical attention because I was feeling very ill and feverish. The nurse took my temperature and didnt mention to me that i had a low grade temperature of 99 degrees and gave me a flu test that she said came back negative. The doctor came in and seemed as if he was in a hurry, undermining all of the symptoms that I told him I was having and just told me to get some rest, wrote me a doctors note for work and prescribed me no medication. The next morning the symptoms had not subsided from resting at home but only got worse so I had to take a trip to the ER where they informed me that my temperature had risen to an unsafe 103 degrees and when they ran their own flu test i did indeed come up positive for having the flu and if I had not gotten a second opinion when I did my unborn baby and i could have been in some serious trouble. I was not pleased at all with the service at New England Urgent Care waste of a visit and co pay

It was late at night (9:30) and even though I felt really lousy, I really didn't want to go to the ER. Thank goodness New England Urgent Care was open until 10:30 that night! I was treated extremely well from the minute I walked in to the time I left. The Physician's Assistant asked good questions and really listened to what I had to say. Turns out I had bronchitis. They gave me a breathing treatment right there, medication and called me the next day to see how I was doing. I would definitely go back.

We have been here multiple times and been satisfied with the doctors and care. The hours are convenient and they take our insurance. However, we have a problem every time with billing errors and overcharging us on the copay. i think this is a staffing issue with one particular young brunette woman who works at the front desk. She's been there every time we have gone there. Not only is she not attentive or friendly. She's clearly incompetent on the billing end.

I've tried the kill em' with kindness strategy with this woman yet same old terrible attitude. She ignores patients and

I've witnessed her snapping at her coworkers.

We've been going there since they opened and i'm always surprised to see that she's still there. Dump this sourpuss and you might have a chance at a four of five star rating.

I visited NEUC in early 2015 and found out they charge a lot for their services. My insurance only allowed the average approved rate and I ended up paying a lot more out of pocket. There prices are expensive. My advice is to visit your PCP; it's going to be cheaper.Another time I stopped in for something minor and forget my new insurance card, it ended up becoming a real big deal, they were going to charge my credit card the full amount and I end up having to deal with the insurance company and all the logistics to get a credit later on. I offered to fax the new card when I got home, but they refused. So, between the expensive charges and acting like I was third-class citizen, I came to the conclusion the only thing urgent about New England Urgent Care is getting their money.

Overall
doctor was horrible

I went in today because of excruciating upper back pain, when the Dr comes in to see me he asked what the problem was and so as I was explaining I noticed he was staring at me as if I were speaking a foreign language. He didnt bother to check my back and told me he wasnt a specialist so he couldnt help me. Gave me a prescription for tramadol abd sent me on my way. After I leave I read the discharged papers and the summary on it had nothing to do with what I was experiencing which leads me to believe the entire time he was staring at me he was in lala land. Never again!

Great place for urgent care.

I went to Urgent Care of Enfield during a snow storm when I couldn't make it to see my primary care doctor. One of the women at the front desk could have been a bit more friendly but at this time that was the least of my concerns. The nurse, medical assistant, and x-ray tech were all so friendly, compassionate and very helpful. I also can't say enough about the PA Jeff. I was seen right away with no wait and the proper time was taken to see what was wrong. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit here and feel I made the right choice and would not hesitate to return.

I was in the Enfield location in early November and found the front desk staff to not be verry professional. The woman was on the phone with a friend and acted like she did not want to do her job. I was also told conflicting information as to what the charges would be. Before I was able to see a doctor, I did not see a doctor I was seen by a PA, I was told that I had to make a deposit of $150 in cash or credit card. I again asked what the charges would be but was told to "take it or leave" by the front desk. Then another worker there told me that it would be $99 based on what I need to be seen for. Months later their billing office, in IL, is looking for another $50 for my visit back in November.

BOTTOM LINE: I would not send anyone there, even my dog.

The staff is very nice, however that's not enough when it comes to my health. It was a Sunday and I was desperate. The doctor simply looked in my throat and sent me on my way with a z-pak. After a few days of me getting progressively worse, I went somewhere else and found out I had the flu. Not impressed.
