Garcia Monkey Garage

Took our 2005 Honda Pilot w/ 173,000 miles and very well taken care of (and that my wife and I are donating to our only son who serves proudly on active duty in the US Army, Infantry) to the Garcia Monkey Garage in Kennet, PA for a "second opinion" after Honda (Newark, DE) told us it would cost $3,500 to replace the struts, shocks and compliance cushing's, due to some clunking noises form the front-end, when driven. Honda actually cautioned us that money would be better spent on "buying a new vehicle" than investing any further money in our Honda Pilot (of which we purchased for $30,000 in 2005)! Well, long story short, the "problem identified by Garcia Monkey in short order were two loose engine mount bolts!!!! total cost of repairs equaled $81.00!!! These people are honest and COMPETENT! No better mechanic's in the entire Avondale, PA / Newark & Hockessin, DE area. My wife and I were obviously upset with what we were led to believe extensive repairs from Honda in Newark, DE but even more shocked with the honesty and competence demonstrated by Garcia Monkey. I can't say in words how thoughtful, honest and competent this business. A rarity in today's business place period. Ask for Arthur who manages the place. He is truly an exceptional person. Would highly recommend anyone who wants (expects) good service and honest prices to take their vehicles to this Garage. They are the best in the entire Avondale/Kennet - PA area.
