Horrible service. I waited over 30 minutes, inly to be told they were out of what I ordered and my guests's orders had akready been delivered. I asked to speak to the manager, whi refused ti compensate me in any way. I would highly recommend avoiding this cheap, poor service restaurant, especially given the namy choices in Memphis.

Fantastic food with small portions, but huge flavor in all the right ways. I've never had a fried oyster as good as they have here and I've had a lot of oysters. This place is worth coming back to. Service is also not bad.

I was in Memphis for 50th Anniversary March on Washington celebration (Couldn't get to D.C, but I digress) Passed by restaurant around noon and it was packed. Came back after my visit to Civil Rights museum around 3pm and I was one of only 5 patrons. Got the chargrilled oysters as appetizers. Normally I don't suck on my food in public, but they were that good. Got the shrimp and grits as an entrée. It was great! The only way it would have been better: BIGGER shrimp instead of teeny tiny shrimp. It's worth the visit and its affordable.

I don't know how he spells his name Kacey or Casey he is the Manager. I let him know that the food came out luke warm and we were on lunch and he didn't come out when I asked for the manager. I had to call him on the phone 20 mins later and ask him to come out. The waitress was doing her best her leg was in a cast. But we had been waiting for over 30 mins for food and it wasn't even busy. So I just knew it would be hot. But it wasn't. So when he did come to the table he was really rude and had a very nasty personality when it came to customers or black people. Either way he told us not to come back. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as long as he is the manager there. I wish I had the owners name and number. I talked to the people that work there and they told me he talk to them very ugly also. The only thing I could say is Wow!!!! I have a business and I have come here a number of times and never had a complaint. But today I will never come again until they get rid of him!!! I hope the owner checks the reviews from time to time.

After recommendation and review if menu the decision was made to try this place. ....only to arrive and be told that they were closed due to a slow night.

I would highly recommend this resturant. Try the Grits. I have traveled in the south for 20+ years and tried all grits. I thought I did not like any of them until I tried Pearls Grits and Shrimp. Wow...
