Sign up. Give blood. It's for a good cause. The hospitals in our communities have a shortage of blood. I went in for the first time back in April. When I got there, I was terrified because I pass out when I get blood drawn. But they were very proffessional, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable before they began. There is a snack/drink area where you can sit while you wait for your turn and where they monitor you after your blood has been drawn. You also get points for donating, and those points are good toward a gift of your choice. You can save your points for something big if you want too. I was so impressed with the staff and what Delta Stands for, that I plan on being a 5 gallon donor and get my name on a plaque. I'm going in for the 3rd time this year. I guess I have a ways to go, huh?
