Ultrasound
For years we’ve had few options to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and “smokers’ lines” on the upper lip. ThermiSmooth is a nonpainful treatment performed in our Munster and Hobart area office which helps in both these troublesome and common areas of aging. The treatment uses a small handheld “wand”, the tip of which is applied to the skin over the wrinkles. Much like an ultrasound, gel is used to conduct the energy from the wand to the skin surface. There is no downtime and the treatment takes roughly 30 minutes depending on the areas treated. * Because collagen remodeling takes time, Munster and Hobart patients will typically see results in two to three months. * Most patients will need a series of three treatments, spaced a month apart. An annual treatment is recommended as maintenance.
Radiation Therapy
Keloids. These are actually the result of abnormal wound healing. Dr. Frank may combine surgical removal with steroid injections at the site of the keloid. In some cases, radiation therapy may also be recommended. Because we don’t understand why keloids form, they remain a challenge for both patients and their doctors.

General Surgery
Dr. Frank adopted the concept from his experience in general surgery, where a similar approach is used in hernia repair. He can advise patients about whether the technique is a good option.
Reconstructive Surgery

Becky is our nurse and will likely be the person to assist Dr. Frank if you have a minor procedure done in the office. Becky brings many years of experience as both an operating room nurse and a nursing administrator. She is also certified in Thermi and PCA skin care treatments. Becky handles many of the accounting and back-office responsibilities of the office. In her spare time, she’s married to the boss.
