The people working there are rude and agrumentative. The guy I dealt with was a piece of work and I will not go back.
This is the BEST muffalatta sandwich I have ever eaten. The olive salad is EXCELLENT! The store is small, so I chose to go and sit in the park and eat. However, the store smells wonderful.
I wanted to have some olive salad shipped to me, but it is expensive to do so, in my opinion, and I don't know that I could eat up 4 jars before it went bad. Wish I could just order 1 jar at a time.
This is a favorite stop for us when in New Orleans.

Provided by SuperpagesTo say this is the best Muffalatta sandwich does not do justice. I shop at Central Grocery every time I visit New Orleasns. I live in California and long to have this delicious treat but I can't go visit family every month, so I do the next best thing and order the Muffalatta relish and have it shipped to me. The recipe on the jar regarding how to assemble the sandwich is easy to follow. My husband and I are having a New Orleans themed party this weekend and hopefully (with a little help from Central Grocery) my Muffalatta sandwiches will be the star. I'm salivating already!! Have mercy!!

Provided by SuperpagesGreat Selection in grocery and best Muff you will ever eat. Very affordable and large enough for 2 to 4 people depending on how much you eat. A must try if you are in New Orleans.
