If I could give service a Negative star I would.
I have been going to El’s for over 10 years, and the past couple of months I have had to stop in there twice for the same tire I had them patch twice. Both times I was in there service sucked and I waited over 3 hours to get my car back. I then had to take it to another shop bc the tire went flat on the rim and stranded me while I was out some where,
Only to find out that they did not remove the sticker where the tire seals to the rim, which explains why he kept loosing air over past couple months. I recently found out that a cousin’s bf is working there, and I know this guy, and he has no mechanic experience or experience with tires. So basically they are hiring dudes off the street with no experience. My bf, Who also had been using El’s for over 10 years, bought a set of tires for his truck (the tires were rated for 80,000 miles) and it ended up being a manufacturer defect that only ended up last 16k miles, with them rotating the tires and several complaints later, they ended up directing him back to contact the manufacturer, who said they wouldn’t refund the money bc El’s wasn’t willing to cooperate with them. So their best offer, that they would offer $100 off his next set, which is a complete joke when you are spending $1,200 on a set of tires. El’s ended up blaming the tire wear on a bad alignment, but they were the ones to do the alignment when he bought the tires. Long story he ended up at Newark’s Pep Boys, reluctantly bc of their bad reputation, but was so surprised of how good of a deal they gave him, the quality service, and the fact that they were willing to after a week, a ripple formed on one of the tires, they were willing to give him a brand new tire, no questions asked, mounted and balanced for free, with no hassle and the same day. Good bye El’s. You lost two customers, who had been going to you guys for 10 years, and hopefully will help deter future customers from becoming disappointed and wasting their time and money.

We went to visit some friends in the area and our tire blew out. So we were looking for tires. We called ahead to see if they had 4 tires for our truck. They said yes so we went to go get them changed. After being told again they had the tires and they could install them. We said ok and waited to get them done. We were not told we'd have to wait 3 hours to get them done. If we had been told that there's a wait we wouldn't have waited. We had our 2 year old son, he's not going to sit that long. We would ask how much longer and they kept saying your coming up soon. 3 hours of this when one of the guys comes out to tell us they don't have 4 tires for us, they only have 2. So we waited all this time for them to tell us they don't have all the tires we had asked twice before if they had. We definitely wouldn't have waited if we had known they didn't ha e the tires. But since we already waited so long my husband just told them to put the 2 they had. Finally finished, we paid and head out. Upon arriving where we were going about 20 mins, the new tire they had just put is FLAT. I don't know if they don't check the tires before hand, but how can you sell someone tires that are not good to begin with. Very disappointed. Our friend was with us and also was annoyed and couldn't believe the service. He too was looking to get tires but he also said he would never go there after our experience.
