La County Superior Court

Trying to contact this court by phone stinks big time but if you can get them on the phone the workers are extemely helpful. Same thing when you go in person.Long lines and no a/c . nasty angry people in line a bunch of arrogant VIPs who cut in line. But once you get to a person to help the workers are really good and spend time with you to answer questions and get you the forms and stuff you need for a divorce. They have free legal help there but you have to ask first and go to another room and then back in a long line. Beats paying big bucks for a lawyer but you get what you pay for and do all the work yourself. Parking is terrible The building is old and ugly. You WILL get a ticket at a meter if you park on the street. I never saw the inside of a courtroom to get my divorce done and it cost almost $500. But overall I got good help and the workers were nice when you get the chance to talk to them. The whole thing could have been worse and not as bad as trying to fight a bogus parking ticket.
