Easdale Boarding & Grooming

They are very friendly and have knowledgeable staff. Beautiful property and the owner lives on-site! I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else!

I won't go anywhere else after finding this place! I used to board my dogs at a different facility, but they always came home nervous & not acting right. I called Easdale after a friend recommended them to me. They let me come in for a tour & answered all my numerous questions. I have now brought my pups to Easdale 3 different times & when I pull into the driveway, their tales start wagging immediately & they can't wait to get in the door! I highly recommend them to everyone! I couldn't be more pleased.

I'm a little baffled as to how this place has consistently gotten 4-5 stars. Their website is seriously misleading, especially when it comes to their facilities. My guess as to why people gave them 4-5 stars is that they never asked to see where their dog was actually going to be staying. I was going to board my dog here for a week while my husband and I went on vacation, I brought my dog in, and was dumbfounded at how they could operate a business in such clutter. This is where I started to get a bad feeling in my gut. I asked to be taken back to see where they kept the dogs and I was taken back through her house to a small room off the kitchen where they held 20 or so dogs stacked one kennel on top of the other. (There's a reason they don't show their holding pens online). The kennel she led me to was not cleaned, had a dirty dog bed in it, and when I looked through the little dog door inside the stall to the outdoor holding pen, it had another dogs droppings all over the concrete floor. They knew I was coming and had ample time to clean the stall, so why didn't they? They also had the dog grooming area right beside all of the kennels, which can be hard for a dog who isn't used to this environment, to have to be right next to all of that noise (especially if they were using an electric trimmer, it makes most dogs feel uneasy). For $26.00 a day plus extra fees for activities, I expected SO much more from this place. I left feeling very uncomfortable about leaving my dog (who I would consider my fur child) there. I ended up calling and canceling and going to pick her up. The woman Nancy, also rolled her eyes at the fact that I was coming back to get my dog. Like, literally rolled her eyes in front of my husband. I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their fur babies and wants them to stay at a clean facility and be well cared for.

I was in a real bind and needed someone on a Sunday evening to help care for three cats. The owner personally called me, set up the care and stayed up to take the cats into care. She is easy to talk to and provided excellent updates on the cats. I recommend their services!

Our boy Miles, a golden retriever, likes to go so much that he pulls us in the door. While we confirm our stay in the office, he is relaxed and actually leads his new friend off to find where he is staying. I like that the dogs can see woods and meadow during their stay instead of a brick wall. We are collecting a whole gallery of his trail photos too. Miles has never acted so happy and so relaxed after staying anywhere else! We've been coming regular for 3 years now.

Not a good experience at all. Pick up and drop off times were not flexable. I beleive we were overcharged. After we picked our dogs up after a week, one of them now gorges and throws up, and she never used to, she would just eat when hungry.



I would not recommend this place to anyone.
