Ideal Transmissions

Ripped me off for $3,500.00 and charged me $60.00 to get my keys back because, used profanity because, my transmission was still slipping and I was pissed. They took the torque converter out and spray painted it and stuck back in my truck charged my for a new one. Broke my gear shift, now I can't put my truck in o/d.

Total Ripoff! They quoted me $1200, then kept my car for almost a month and it ended up costing me close to $4k. They told me they did a complete rebuild of the transmission and not 2 weeks after getting it back I started having the same exact problems again. They assured me it was just a valve body and they would order the part. they took over a month to order the part during which time my car left me stranded in Florida because of the transmission. When we got the car back to Texas, they magically fixes my car in 1 day. Horrible customer service, they would never return my phone calls, for the price I payed, I could have purchased a new transmission. This place is a joke!
