Kaman Corporation was established in 1945, operating exclusively as a designer and manufacturer of helicopters that set aviation records. In 1996, Kaman Corporation celebrated the 30th anniversary of the development of the ovation guitar. Kaman Corporation is headquartered in Bloomington, Conn.
