Family Medicine Partnership

My experience with this practice over the past 31 years has been almost always excellent. However, I have been careful to request treatment specifically from Dr. Buckman himself as much as possible and rely on other practitioners in the office only when unavoidable. The professionals he has had on his staff have varied a lot in how much they inspire my confidence. Some have been totally top-notch. The clerical folks have also varied some in how sharp they seem to be, but I have not had any adverse experiences. I would recommend Dr. Buckman to anyone. :-)

This place is the worst-- they close the office without notice, they disconnect your call after waiting on hold 15+ minutes, the secretaries are rude & I suspect they simply shred any paperwork or forms that are dropped off, since everything is constantly getting "lost." They also insisted on billing me for a 15-minute appointment after I'd been left waiting in an exam room for 55 minutes and was seen by the doctor for 4 minutes. This practice is completely unprofessional and does not value their patient's time.

I went in for a routine yearly physical and on top of my normal bloodwork that I've always had done from my previous doctor, I was charged for diagnostic (not preventive) bloodwork that I never authorized. I spent days trying to have this corrected only to be met with a "tough luck, pay the bill" attitude from the doctor's office. It was almost comical how their solution to the problem was for me to talk to the doctor, where I then requested to speak with him and they told me I would need to come in for an appointment and thus be charged even more money. I will not be coming back to this office, and I recommend that anyone considering going here to think twice about it. They just might tack on additional work which you never authorized which isn't covered by your insurance company. Simple extortion. Stay away!
