Autobell Car Wash

I had body work done on my 2010 Genesis Coupe (19" alloy wheels with low profile tires) and they took it to this Autobell to clean it up afterwards. The car came back to me with damage on one of the spokes, and a quarter sized chunk missing from the front drivers side wheel. I took it back to Autobell, and to prove to me their machine didn't do it, they ran it through the machine again. Afterwards, the wheel had identical damage on the other side of the wheel, and every spoke was sanded down. The manager lied to my face and said it was like that already, and after 10 minutes of arguing, he submitted a claim (and put in the manager notes "vehicle had no damage before or after car wash"). After 3 days, he said the machine didn't cause the damage, and the car before and after mine (both on regular sized wheels) weren't damaged. I was told to call the district manager, who I left a message for and was never called back. The body shop picked up the repair bill.



If you have a nicer car, don't go to this car wash.. if damage does happen, they'll call you a liar to your face, not take responsibility, and treat you like crap. And to add insult to injury, even after the 2 washes my car had, it still wasn't completely clean.. I had to wipe it down again when I got home.
