Overall

It seems like people only go online when they want to complain, or are coerced by some promotion. This is neither. When I read the the previous review, I was really surprised and felt the need to set the record straight.



I have a vehicle at Solis right now, and I have had several repairs done by them over the years. These guys are GREAT -- they are extremely accommodating and fair. As I mentioned, I have had a few incidents over the years that have required auto body repair, and I always go to this shop... they have always treated me with respect, provided excellent customer service, and done top notch work. My current experience is no different. They are the best!



They will provide you with exactly what you want... used parts, new parts, rebuilt - whatever you ask for, they can do. This is why I found the previous review so disheartening -- you get what you ask for, and pay for. If you want a factory repair, pay for a factory repair.



Here is why I will always go to Solis... honesty. When insurance is involved, you always go get multiple estimates. EVERY TIME I have had to do this I have found other local shop padding the estimate with unneeded shop time or parts... often thousands of dollars more than the Solis quote (and final). In good conscious I can't do business with dishonest folks. Honesty matters to me -- and it's why I continue to choose Solis.



I have been a local for over 35 years, and I appreciate our home town families doing it right -- this is a hometown favorite, for sure.

Bad Business

They given specific instructions on how to fix my SUV's sunroof, they disregarded the information they where given and went behind the insurance and my companies back to put in incompetent product and then the owner tells me he is not comfortable putting in the sunroof. He will not refund my monies and told me the only way I would get my refund is if I would sue him, DO YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS HERE...

Mr. Staub rec'd a check from his insurance co. and cashed it. The ins. co. estimate was for $2117.29. We are a collision repair company, but when Mr. Staub came to us to replace his sunroof I agreed because he was a prior satified customer. Our workmanship did not fail, the used sunroof assembly, that Mr. Staub requested did. I ordered another used sunroof to replace the one we installed @ no charged to Mr. Staub. Mr. Staub decided he wanted a new sunroof, his ins. would not approve this. I contacted him but then he changed his mind again and wanted me to give him a refund. I told him I had the used sunroof and would be glad to put it in. The total repair was $860.94, he thought we cheated him for some labor, so I refunded him $175. But that wasn't good enough he wanted a full refund which I would not agreed to. He made many threats if we would give him back his money. He'd turn me in to the Better Business Bureau, ruin our business, take us to court. He did take me to Small Claims and he LOST. I live where I work and I work very hard to make every customer happy. This is a very unfortunate situation!
