Children's Academy

My daughter started at this center when she was 6 wks old and in the 5 1/2 years that she was enrolled the center had 4 different directors and 6+ different assistant directors. Of all the members of management the current director and assistant director are by far the worst. The director would sit in her office either on the telephone (which sounded non business related) or playing with her baby. The assistant director would sit at her desk doing homework or text messaging. I pulled my daughter out of the center not too long after this new director started back in May so things may have changed by now, but probably not.

wow, i have no idea what this mother is talking about, but childrens academy on chapel hill rd. is wonderful. i have an older son who used to go there when he was alot younger, and they were great. and he never wanted to leave. and now, i have a toddler who goes there and its even better now. the director is great, the teachers are wonderful, and my toddler loves her teachers. i have never ever had a problem w/ anyone there, and everyone knows eachother, its like a family. you feel that welcomed there. and its a very clean and safe place for your children. you have to take your children there. they will love it.

My daughter has been enrolled at this center since she was an infant and now she is in the preschool class getting ready for "big girl school" We have always had great communication with the director and teachers. My daughter looks forward to going to school everyday, and my wife and I always feel welcome when we walk in the door.

This place is horrid. The children in the toddler room are strapped into a buggy ALL day. The older kids have a teacher who sits and reads - never even says hello when spoken to. The floors are mopped with a bleach solution while the kids are still playing in the room. A few of the teachers would speak to the kids in such a disrespectful manner - and these are three year olds.
