Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My experience with Enterprise Rental Cars, at the Rick Hendrick Chevrolet location, in Charleston, SC, is not so good. Although the representatives at the front desk are friendly, they lack the manpower, protocol, and/or facilities to properly clean and service their vehicles. I used their services on five different occasions in 2016 and each time the vehicles were filthy and some were low on fluids. All were in need of vacuuming, interior dusting, interior window cleaning, and exterior cleaning. On one occasion, there were pine needles, rocks and leaves in a vehicle and in another, bricks and debris...Absolutely no reason for this to occur. Also, they have a bad policy of not ensuring the vehicles are full of gas, which is not only inconvenient, but makes it difficult sometimes to return the vehile with an 1/8 or 1/4 of a tank where it was when rented. You guys can do much better.

Enterprise is a great company to work with. they bend over backwards to strive complete customer satisfaction.

On my recent visit to Charleston, I was picked up at the residence I was visiting and taken to the local office to check out a car. It worked very well for me since my host was busy and unable to take me there. I arranged the return at the airport and was charged a surprisingly small fee for the different drop-off location. The only drawback was the airport area is under construction and the drop-off procedure required me to unload luggage in the parking lot, and without shuttle or luggage dolly, drag the heavy load across the lot and across the entire length of the airport to get to check-in. Someone not in good physical condition would find it very strenuous to perform this while help was so lacking.
