Chester Animal Clinic

We have taken our pets to Chester Animal Clinic since we moved here in 2004. We have always been happy with the doctors, technicians and everyone who works there. They are professional, friendly, and really love their clients (the animals) they serve.

Moved to the area in June and took our 2 yr old dog to this practice in July because she was experiencing some unusual symptoms (reduced eating, vomiting bile, lethargic)...the vet totally dismissed a low grade fever and diagnosed depression. Two weeks later, I'm back at office with no results from medication, and additional symptoms...this time, another vet wants to pluck her ears to check for infection, but wants to sedate her first because she's being difficult. (She's a doodle and has no aggressive bones in her and old vet never had any issues). I do not let them sedate her and I leave with RX for antibiotics. I finally wised up and took her to emergency vet over weekend. She had a toothpick lodged in her stomach and needed emergency surgery...if I had waited any longer, she would have died. The vets at CAC never really listened to me when I kept telling then something more was wrong with my dog, they just wanted to diagnose the most common causes without any true investigation. The female vet didn't even seem comfortable with dogs. I will never be back and never recommend them. Wish I could give negative stars.
