Dental Sealants
We have options for the use of digital radiographs, which research has shown to emit less radiation than conventional x-rays. We also promote the use of traditional (fluoride-based) as well as alternative (calcium-phosphate-based) methods of cavity prevention. We routinely place white fillings and recommend dental sealants whenever possible. We follow the American Academy of Pediatric s and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry guidelines which recommend the first visit to the dentist at the age of 1 year, or within 6 months of eruption of a new tooth. We welcome you to visit for a tour of the office prior to your first visit to make your child more familiar with our office.
