Mc Kiddy Auto

My car had broke down, so I had it towed to a family mechanic. A few days passed and I had not heard anything back so I called a few times to inquire about my car. He was not in or unavailable most of the time and apparently he is the only person to speak to. So after I did get in contact with him, he informed me that the timing belt had went out. He gave me the price which was fairly reasonable (to reasonable), so I told him to go ahead and do the work. He later called me and informed me that I had a terrible oil leak and that he would only charge me $80 to fix it, which was also reasonable. I also gave him the go ahead to change the oil since he was messing with it already, $30 which was kind of costly but whatever. Well I get my car back 1 day later than he promised, I paid him in cash, and not two weeks later a rod throws in my engine. The work was paid for on 3/14/2010 and threw the rod on 3/30/2010. Almost two weeks. Then when I called him he said it was my responsibility to check the oil! Now I am without a car! I have every intention on suing him if he does not refund my money or take responsibility for the damage. I would never suggest this company to anyone! BEWARE OF SWINDLE WENDEL
