Auto Spa

We have used Auto Spa for several years and until yesterday have liked it. We always pick the one package that is 47 dollars that includes Rainex. Yesterday though when we went through we noticed that everytime soap went on, there were no colors like there used to be so we assume you are using new product. But the surprising part was when they cleaned the inside of the car, they left long large streaks on the front window. The vacuuming was good on the drivers' side but not the passenger side. Usually they are more attentive to detail. IT was disappointing because if this is the new standards we are going to have to find a new car wash to go to.

I have been a customer of Auto Spa for years ever since it opened.



I visited the establishment to have my car cleaned for the $29 wash service. I sat in line for 45 minutes and when I was about to drive into the wash tunnel, an angry employee came running at me (he later identified himself as the manager but refused to give his name) and yelling at me to get out of the line because my tag was registered with them as "do not serve." When I inquired as to the reason, he said that he had no reason logged into the system, but was sure that there was one. He then gave me the email address of the supposed owner, a John Thomas, and told me to contact him. He embarrassed me in front of other customers by constantly telling me to leave the premises and would not let me speak with another attendant to get more information as to the supposed reason.



I believe that this reason stems from an occurrence a few months ago wherein I went to Auto Spa for the same service, however, at the end of the service, my car had streaks of dirt on it and the inside had streaks of dust and debris; it was clearly obvious that the service was shoddy. I demanded that they reclean the vehicle because for $29 I expect that it at least not have streaks. Auto Spa ran my car through the wash tunnel again and rewashed it, but the same rude manager told me that if I wanted my car clean in the future that I should make a detailing appointment and pay their rate of $119. I told him that they should clean the car as advertised for $29 and that I will not be paying $119 because they are unable to properly do their jobs. It appears, therefore, that if you make any mention of Auto Spa's poor quality, they will simply ban you. Way to take care of your customers! I would not take my car there even if it was free!



Auto Spa has a habit of skimping on water and cutting corners to keep down expenses, while at the same time collecting the full freight from customers. In fact, in a previous visit, one of their service managers demanded an additional $30 cash under the table from me to clean up unknown spots from my car. They will rip you off every chance they get. When they first opened, they were great. Now, they don't seem to care about the quality of their work or their customers, and retain a list of customers who apparently are dissatisfied with their services and so they ban them.
