        Great service. I called only 2 hours before my mulch was to be delivered & was able to add a few more yards to the order. The girl who took my order was helpful & polite. When Fred the delivery man arrived he was very nice & put the mulch in just the right spot. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GRANDFATHERS NURSERY & will use the m in the future for my garden needs

        We had Grandfathers mulch our beds and install a french drain to control run-off. All of the work was done well and the price was very fair. We're particularly happy with the drain. It has solved a major erosion problem. I would also highly recommend their special mix of fine bladed grass seed. It's more expensive than the Big Box stuff (Scotts, Rebels, etc.) but it takes and thrives where none of the national brands have for years. So I'm spending less by spending more on quality seed.

        Grandfathers is a great local garden center. Their product is good, delivery charges for mulch and dirt are very reasonable and they show up when scheduled. Ed Miller will give you pointers over the phone on products and plantings. He is very knowlegeable.

        When other places were closed 4th of July weekend, Grandfathers was open Saturday and Sunday. They had all the gravel and stone I needed for my project and were very courteous and helpful getting into my truck even when I showed up 5 minutes before they were closing.

        Yes I know I can go to Home Depot or Lowes.....BUT for me I like supporting a good local family business.
