B Merrell's Corporate Office

We had some friends that live in another state visit us on 06-15-08, we suggested that we go to dinner at B. Merrell's in Columbus, GA. We arrived at the restaurant at approximately 3:10 PM EST. The restaurant was definitely not crowded, we were seated and a waitress named "Roxie" waited on us to take our drink orders. We did not get our drinks for 20 minutes after that, or orders were finally taken after 35 minutes and we waited on our food until 4:40, We ordered wings, rotisserie chicken salad, chicken fingers, caesar salad and blackened chicken salad. The food except for the wings was cold/no bread with the salads, the salads were warm and not crisp, my friend ordered the blackened chicken and got a regular caesar salad with grilled chicken on it. My son got the chicken fingers they were cold. We got up and got our own napkins, had to cause a scene to get her attention at all to get tea, coke etc.... then she brought our bread which was 2 small pieces that were hard as a rock after we had finished our meal and said she forgot to ask them to make it...She would leave and disappear out of sight for 15-20 minutes at a time... I bragged about the food/wings and salads to my friends as we are frequent customers at B. Merrell's, we were quite embarrassed at the restaurant by remarks made by our guests about the food and the service. I doubt we will spend our money at this restaurant in the future. We will take our business elsewhere. I paid approximately $50.00 for bad food and no service....Surely the manager was not present at this time.. I just thought you would like to know....
