Elation Nail & Spa

My sister and I stopped in for a full set of nails each, someone had told us to try this place out. It was pretty busy, we were walk-ins, so we knew it would be a wait. We didn't imagine we'd have to sit and wait for over an HOUR to be seen. When we were finally able to be seen that hour later I felt like my nail girl was too overwhelmed and completely rushed through my set. Since she was trying to rush she kept trying to glue my tips on way too fast and they had a lot of trouble sticking to my nails. It took her about 10 min to re-glue all the tips, because they had all lifted. She quickly went through the whole acrylic process. I hadn't even been able to say thank you before I was rushed off my chair to make way for the next person. When I got home I took an even closer look at the job. They looked beautiful.... until I looked closer and 4 of my tips hadn't glued on after the SECOND time she glued them. I was furious but didn't want to drive all the way over there again so I had to get my own nail glue to fix them myself. I also noticed that the size of tips were too small for my natural nail size so those were peaking out on the sides. I think the end result would've been different had my visit not been so rushed through. If the flow of walk-ins is too overwhelming that option shouldn't be offered.

I would never recommend this nail salon to anybody after my last visit.

After I had waited for 40(!!!) minutes I asked how much longer it would take. Instead of apologizing for the long wait someone barked at me that, because I had requested to be seen by either one of two employees, there was someone else in front of me and then it was my turn.

They took a walk-in customer that came after me first and then where rude. If they know about long waiting times you would think that upon entering someone would inform you of the fact.

Customer service gets an F- rating from me. Thank goodness there are other nail salons out there that do have excellent customer service.

I LOVE Elation! I had tried several places in the Corpus Christi area and none of them really did my solar pearl tips the way I like them, they were never up to my standards. Then I found elation! A dream come true! I always go to Holly, she shapes them perfectly and makes sure the edges are smooth because Im a preschool teacher, other places always left them a little sharp or pointy. I recently moved to Dallas and cannot find a place there that compares. I always make it a priority to have my mani and pedi done when I come to visit my family. Now im moving to Washington... Im going to be so sad to be so far away from Elation. In my opinion they are THE BEST OF THE BEST!

I have been to many nail salons. I have also worked at very high end spas in corpus & this is where I perfer to go. I could assure you this is a very clean place. It is very diffrent from other nail shops. They have a relaxing environment,lighting,paint,fountains its such a nice place. You will not find another nail shop that feel like an upscale spa without the high prices. Tammy is wonderfull she takes her time 2 make sure your nails are perfect. I even trusted Tammy to do my nails for my wedding and that's because I am such a picky person.They leave acrylic nail looking so natural very thin and shaped nice.
