I've been taking my families car's there for diagnostics and service repairs for over a year now. They are always very friendly, thorough and haven't failed me or misdiagnosed anything.

They always provide an estimate for the repairs, once they've diagnosed the problem and have NEVER attempted to charge me anything more than what I was quoted. They also know that I can do some minor repairs myself, once they've identified the problem and have never tried pressuring me into letting them perform the repairs.

I was getting ready to head to a party for my DJ business and when I went to start my car, it wouldn't start. I called these guys and they came and picked up me and my car, towed us to their shop, and had me back on the road in enough time to still make it to my gig on time. These guys rock and I highly recommend them for any automotive need.

I was amazed at how fast they was able to put a transmission in my car. They came with their own tow truck and picked up my car in the morning and had it finished by the end of the day. It runs better now than it ever has!

These guys did the exhaust on my 88 mustang at a very reasonable price and it sounds great now. Best exhaust place around!

CROOKS! Do NOT let these amateurs touch your car. I stopped here because they were advertising a $19.95 oil change. I asked SPECIFICALLY if they changed the oil filter on these quick-changes. Manager Larry said “Oh yeah!” I repeated my question. He again answered “Yeah!” I had already crawled under my car and put a mark on the old oil filter so that I could check to see if it had been replaced when they were done. I learned to do this after I had been ripped off from another place. Sure enough, when Manager Larry said they were finished, I asked him if he changed the filter, and he said “oh yeah!” I got my keys, walked out to the car, crawled under the car behind my front right tire and checked the oil filter and sure enough they did NOT change the old oil filter. I saw the same mark on the filter that I had made before I left it with them. Now, I’m wondering if they even changed the oil. CROOKS! Do NOT let these amateurs touch your car. I had already heard stories about these guys before I went, but thought since I asked Mgr. Larry twice about my oil filter that he would have the character to actually do an honest job. …guess I was wrong. (I have already posted comments about this shop and contacted the Covington Chamber of Commerce) - (You can see other comments here about the theft these guys engage in ... they give the good shops a BAD name!) (I can only assume that the positive comments here were made by friends of Larry and the guys!)

These guys are highly professional and will keep your car running perfectly. My only problem is that I don't have that nice pimp out ride, so I find their attempt to "fine tune" everything on my car rather expensive. Their estimates end up being about half of what my car is worth. If you've got a newer car, though, and you want to keep it perfect. This is the place.

They are truly All Stars!! I always had a perfect service and I told all my friends come to All Star Automotive if they need any thing done to their cars.

I just wanted to say that they have one of the best service in town. I took my car here for major tune-up. They told me that it was going to take up to 2 hours, so they told me that one of the staff can take me home and pick me up later when my car is done. I took that offer. Wow! I like that. If your car needs repair and you are like most people, you don't believe there is such a thing as an honest mechanic that also does very good work, but take it to All Star Automotive and you'll find out that's not entirely true. We've taken both of our cars to All Star over the last two months and they has been extremely trustworthy and helpful. It is such a relief to find great mechanics who are competent, professional, and efficient! The guys at All Star are all real deal mechanics, not schmucks out to take advantage of people. Seriously, if you're looking for mechanics, look no further. And if it's a little out of the way, it's still very worth the extra commute.
