Coal Mountain Animal Hospital

I had an awesome experience here! I was visiting from out of town and had my dog with me and he got sick. I called this vet and they got me an appointment immediately. They were so friendly and helpful. They genuinely cared about my dog and have followed up with me to check on how he’s doing now. Not all vets would be so accommodating and caring towards an out of town patient they knew would not be a regular. I am very thankful for how well they took care of my baby!

Absolutely the best vets I've ever been to. The care given to my two dogs and cat (and me!) was amazing.

Poor care received.

I boarded my dog at Coal Mountain Animal Hospital in February. He came home with kennel cough, even though I had asked the staff if he was up to date on his bordetella vaccination since CMAH was also my vet. They also treated my dog for a "flea infestation" due to other dogs being boarded who were infested with fleas. They charged me for this. Also, they called me at work to come pick my pet up two days early because of the weather channel calling for a snow storm. When I told them that I would not be able to get off work until 8pm that evening, they told me to get a friend to pick up my pet or he would receive no care at all.

I sent CMAH an email voicing my concerns about my pet's poor care. No one bothered to contact me. I guess they don't care if they give substandard, unprofessional care.

I would give them less than one star if that were a possibility.

If you want to waste your time, you should take your pet to Coal Mountain Animal Hospital!

I was a new client but waited 2 hrs past my appointment time before I just walked out. If their Dr's are as rude and unaccommodating as their receptionists then I made a good choice by leaving.
