General Info

The Public Works Department is one of the various departments governed by city of University Park in Texas. The services offered by the department include engineering, building inspections, planning and zoning, code enforcement, maintenance of city buildings and streets, residential and commercial refuse collection and disposal. The department also undertakes installation and maintenance of traffic signs, signals and pavement markings. The additional services offered by the department include installation and maintenance of the city's water distribution, and sanitary and storm sewer collection systems. The department offers 24 hour, seven days a week emergency service. The other departments under city of University Park city include budget and finance, community development, emergency services, personal and legal development. The Public Works Department has its adminstrative office located in Dallas.
