        The Decatur High School offers classes from grades nine through 12 and has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students. It consists of various departments, such as science, math, art, music, foreign language, computer science, health, world studies, reading and writing. It also offers advanced placement courses. The school consists of robotics team, alumni association, scholars bowl, clubs, forensic teams, chorus and concert bands. It also operates a scholarship program, including full tuition, room and board, books and fees. Located in Decatur, Ala., the high school is a part of Decatur City Schools that serves more than 8,000 students in over 15 schools of the community. Its schools are equipped with technology, computers, networking and Internet access and are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
