Butler Agency

Be careful with this agency. They sent documentation to me that said to return to their underwriter Universal Property and Casualty. Which I did. Several days later Ms. Butler stated I should of returned the application to her and just mailed the check to the underwriter. She wanted me to come in and fill out another application. I was reluctant to do so, I suggested why not just have UPC mail to you the application. Ms. Butler went ballistic claiming they could not do it. Well I called Universal Property and Casualty and they were more than accommodating and were dumbfounded as to why this agent would of even stated such. Butler Agency created this confusion, not I.



The contract should have been signed by both parties prior to sending out a bill. They are so quick to want their money they shortcut the legal steps, issue a policy before they have signatures on the application. Than blame the customer for sending the signed application and check to the wrong place.
