Oral cancer screening, soft tissue exam, TMJ check, a complete periodontal workup, and an in-depth record of existing restorations will be done. We organize a comprehensive treatment plan for every single patient. We start by addressing their biggest dental concerns first then prioritize the rest of the treatment plan in the manner that focuses on the most pressing matters in order. Prevention also includes regular dental exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Our registered dental hygienist will remove all calculus (tartar) and plaque from your teeth, then, the teeth will be flossed and polished for stain removal.

Family Dental Care uses Panoramic X-rays to screen for oral cancer, pathology, impacted and wisdom teeth. Our brand new panoramic X-ray was installed in 2017 and its digital renditions result in less radiation exposure. Fluoride Treatment

Family Dental Care uses a fluoride varnish that is painted on your teeth rather than bulky impression trays with foam. You can eat and drink immediately after, but avoid crunchy foods like chips or sticky foods like gum. After 4-6 hours you are able to brush the varnish off. The varnish fluoride we use is more effective for reducing sensitivity, strengthening the enamel, and protecting against tooth decay. Dentists recommend that children have a professional application of fluoride twice a year.

Resin Composite
