Luckily, I did not make the mistake of using this body shop; however I would like to share my experience with customers so you think twice about supporting a body repair shop like this one.

My elderly mother was involved in a hit and run accident a few nights ago. She was injured from the accident, flustered and frazzled and was not in any position to make decisions. The owners of For Friends were conveniently at the scene of the accident and readily had a tow truck available, after my mother called 911 for a police officer to be dispatched. The couple took my mother's vehicle without her verbal permission and my mother had to be taken to the hospital shortly after. My mother made no agreement with the owners of For Friends to repair or even tow her vehicle. Over the course of three days, For Friends refused to release my mother's vehicle to State Farm (her insurance company) four times. My mother gave several verbal authorizations and written authorization to release the vehicle and they wouldn't. They also threatened my mother with a teardown fee of $1500, when they were NEVER authorized to repair the car and would therefore have no reason to tear it down. They only agreed to release the vehicle when my mother threatened to call the police to go with her to get the car.

For Friends kept my mother's car for three days and would not release it, in addition they towed the car without consent. This is not ethical or moral behavior. My elderly mother had to go through this ordeal after being in a car accident which is stressful enough, plus being threatened with unnecessary fees from this body shop and not being able to have the body shop she selected work on her car for an additional three days. My advice is that there are many other body shops out there that are far more trustworthy than this one, save your time, money and frustration and go to another shop. The owners of this shop clearly have no problems lying to or threatening customers, like my elderly mother. Please do not support this shop and thanks for reading my review!
