Grooming By Marie

Rubble, my puppy, enjoys his visits to the salon! Staff are down to earth and talk with you as if they have always known you. I am always pleased to see Rubble's new hair style. Each time he comes home from the salon my 4 year old sniffs his coat like she's on a Febreeze commercial..."he smells so fresh mom!". Thank you for being such awesome people and providing Florence with excellent service!

I dropped my dog off expecting the price for grooming Marie quoted me…when I picked her up instead of $60 is was $95 ..WHAT? for grooming a dog???

This place is always clean and sweet to the dogs. You can take a look around anytime you want. They turned my little mutt into a princess. I asked them to make her beautiful and she came out looking great. I'd trust them with any dogs... mutts or purebreds

I've been doing business with Marie for 7 years. My dogs have always been treated well and love going there. I have not had any personal problems with the business either. They treat everyone as family. It's fun going at holidays to see how the place will be decorated and what little treats she may have. My dogs always come out looking great. Marie has actual schooling in Grooming. Even show dogs have been trusted in her hands. I recommend this business to everyone.

I took my dog to Grooming by Marie for about a year with no problems other than an occasional sloppy cut and several mix-ups on her part because she confused my dog with another or wrote my appointment in the wrong day on her calendar.



However, the last time I dropped my pet off with Marie, it was a terrible experience. She was working alone that day. After the customer ahead of me left, she proceeded to talk badly about the customer to me, and when I arrived in the evening to retrieve my pet, she told me he was a screamer. Once we got home, I noticed my dog licking between his toes constantly. When I looked closer, I found that ALL of his nails were cut into the quick and had blood on the ends of them.



When I called Marie later to inquire about it, I told her that if she didn't want to groom him, just tell me not to come back but don't hurt my dog. She began yelling at me into the phone and saying I was lying. I took my dog back in to show her his nails. She was rude, never apologized, and said his nail bleeding was caused by his licking them. What??



Marie is fine as long as all goes well, but she is apparently a blind old bat with an ego too large to own her mistakes and be empathetic to someone who is concerned that she hurt their pet.
