Starlette O'hara

Wow, Shelly helped me and was really knowledgeable. The selection was great. I heard about this from a story where she had donated some dresses to unprivileged girls in downtown Fresno just so they could go to prom, so I wanted to come check out the store. It's huge. Definitely a copany I would support. Although they could use more shoes.

My experience here couldn't have been worse! I would NEVER recommend that anyone order anything from this place! The staff appeared to be friendly they many times I was in. I tried on many dresses and the gowns were beautiful. BUT I was lied to about who designed the gown, then while trying to order, My order was messed up over and over, then I was told the designer stopped making the dress and they would never get another. The girl working told me she would have the owner call me to sort out the mix up, I left My number there on FOUR different occasions and never recieved a call! Then a month later I went into the store and they had two of the gowns that I was told they wouldn't ever get again. While doing My own research I realized after that, they were lying about who created the dress and then continued to lie about other thing when I tried to order. All in all it was a terrible experience and they were extremely difficult to try and work with. I would never recommend trying to buy from a place like this.

NIGHTMARE THROUGH AND THROUGH!!!!!! DO NOT ORDER A WEDDING DRESS OR BRIDES MAIDS DRESSES FROM STARLETTE O’HARA!!! WARNING: to any brides out there. With only 4 weeks before my wedding the owner calls me and tells me that the 6 bridesmaid dresses I order through them aren't coming! She was in a fight over her unpaid bill with the designer she ordered through and she canceled her account with them, so the dresses could not be shipped. Sure I got my money back, but it was nightmare trying to find another dress for the girls on such short notice or to find another place to have them shipped. Not only did Starlette O'Hara screw up the order from coming she also ordered all the sizes way too big for my girls, and didn't order one of the six dresses at all! If one of my bridesmaids hadn't dropped out unexpectedly the night mare that is Starlette O'Hara would have continued. It is an unprofessional place, and I NEVER recommended anyone shopping there for ANYTHING.

This boutique is a little diamond in the rough. California has not seen anything like this. The costmer service just made it that much more of an experience! A true find in the boutique world.
