I had taken my chihuahua to them and they treated her with respect. She was dying and instead of trying to milk money out of me he laid it out straight to me. And then after it was all done he did an Memorial for my Ginger. This was above and beyond. I have never had a vet send a sympathy card or do an memorial. Thank you Garden Grove Dog & Cat Hospital. I've had horrible experiences here. I took my dog about 1 year ago and had not had the chance to write a review. However, the doctor said he had to sedate my 55lb. dobie mix b/c he didn't want to put himself or his staff in danger. Keep in mind that all he had to check was her ear.. talk about being a veterinarian.. right?!?!? I mean he's supposed to have a way with dogs being that his profession deals with animals!!!!!! I ended up taking her to the Stanton Pet Hospital and the veterinarian there took care of my dog's ear problem all for a reasonable price, and without sedating her!



Yet another horrible experience at the GG Dog & Cat Hospital: Today my other dog had to have an iv cathetra removed, they claimed to want her to stay the entire day to watch her, this was after she had been released from the emergency clinic and the veterinarian there had said she was fine, that all she needed was pain medication and to have the cathetra removed. In plain simple words I've had horrible experiences here, the staff has attitude problems and their prices are not reasonable at all!

I took my dog in for a blood test ,fecal exam and xray. Within the hour that I brought her home she developed these two large lumps on her neck (Haematomas) I tried calling the Hospital and the didn't have an answering machine or number where anyone could be reached. I was so scared that I went online to speak to a vet and she said they are Haematomas likely caused by blood draw, but normally not two lumps that size. I tried speaking to the vet about it and he acted as if it wasn't a big deal. I would not recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone that loves their pets.

This is the place to go for honest, gentle, compassionate and expert care for your pet. The doctors here are just fantastic. They are professional, take time with you and they offer reasonable, affordable pricing for services without compromising on excellent treatment. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Mark Malo and Dr. Hess were for me in my recent visits there. I am sure Dr. Les is just as good, just have not met him yet.. The staff is friendly, helpful and it is clean and very well run. Thank you G.G. Dog and Cat Hospital.

This facility is a family run establishment; father and son. They both care deeply about providing the best care possible at reasonable rates for family pets. This is as good as it gets folks!
