Payless Beauty Supply

These people are incredibly rude and even SUGGEST you go somewhere else. So I advise you do JUST THAT! I would absolutely NOT recommend this hair store for ANYTHING. They are incredibly rude and nonchalant about their lack of customer service. That is their ONLY consistency.

There was another instance where the man yelled in the faces of a 9 and 5 yr old. This is not the first time these people have been rude to me or my family, but this was the last straw.

Today July 17, 2012. I called and here is the transcript of our conversation:

*answer but no "hello" *
Me: Hello?
Woman: Yes?
Me: Hi, I was calling to see if you guys have Milky Way Indian Hair.
Woman: Milky Way, indian Hair. Yes, you come get.
Me: Well, do you have a 12 inch 33?
*she talks to man in background*
Woman: I don't know, you come, I give you good price. Okay?
Me: Okay, but do you have a 12 inch 33? And how much is it?
Woman: I no know they are different price!
Me: For a 12 inch 33?
Woman: I no know! How much you want?
Me: How much is one bag of 12 inch 33?
Woman: I no know, you come or no?
Me: Well I don't live close I live in Dallas, that's why I was calling ahead to get the price.
Woman: Phone line too short! Phone line too short!
Me: I'm sorry?
Woman: Phone line too short, the bag over there, phone over here, phone line too short.
Me: Oh, well okay I can wait while you check. There's no rush I just want to make-

*she hangs up*
*I call back*

Woman: Yes?
Me: Hi, I was calling about the hair?
Woman: Yes
Me: Did you hang up on me?
Woman: Yes! Go and buy somewhere else, there other hair store! Go somewhere else.
Me: That was incredibly rude, I was just calling to check the price because I don't live close.
Woman: I don't care! Go somewhere else!
*hangs up again*

Now, I completely understand in their line of work they must get all sorts of rude people. And had I been rude, this response would have been warranted. But since I wasn't, this speaks volumes for their business. I suggest you go ANYWHERE else but here. There is actually another hair supply close by in Garland.

In her words, "Go and buy somewhere else, there other hair store! Go somewhere else."

I would give it ZERO stars!!! I'm a salon owner and always but lashes in bulk for my makeup artists. I've shipped at 4U Beauty Supply on Buckingham and Plano Rd. For years and made the mistake of walking into this place today, because we were eating at a Sushi Restaurant nearby. I usually buy 40-50 lashes at a time and when I realized the price, I said I usually buy the same lashes for $1. They both told me "GO!" And the horrible RUDE, low class wife starts waving her hand like a crazy person telling me to get out. DO NOT shop here! The place is DIRTY, unorganized and the quality of the lashes were awful too. 4U Beauty Supply is 10 min away!! They're kind, polite, appreciate your business and help you with whatever you need! I work for television and film as well and send all my clients to them for extensions. I made the mistake if walking into this disgusting place today because it was close and I thought it would be convenient. They should be out of business! The rudest people I've seen in my 40 years!!!!!

I wish I could give no stars. Every time I go to this store there is some kind of issue. The owner acts like he doesn't want my business. The selection is limited and noting seems to be in the right place. Today I went there because they are closest to my house. I was about to make a $30 purchase when he told be that he could not take my $10 because the corner of it was torn. He told me to go to the bank and come back. I told him to just give me my money back and I would go some where else. He told me that it was illegal in this country to have torn bills. (I got the bill from the grocery store.) I informed him that I know the law (I'm american) and someone else would love to take my money. I went right over to Jessica's beauty supply on Buckingham Rd. They were very nice, had a better selection and took my $10 bill. I hope this place closes soon!
