Parsams Construction

Framing
As owner and contractor, Parsam Construction was responsible for the installation of shoring and the construction of masonry retaining walls, reinforced concrete footings, slab-on-grade and post- tension concrete deck engineered by Mark Grigorian. We also constructed and/or supervised all framing and other aspects of construction as the “General Contractor” of record.

New Construction
Parsam Construction has, and continues to be, a successful quality provider of construction services to the residential development and public agency clients in Southern California. Since its establishment in 1987, Parsam Construction has expanded in size, location, and service capabilities. As a privately held corporation, Parsam has a staff of more than 35 technical and support personnel. Parsam Construction is headquartered in Glendale, California.
Demolition
The scope of this project includes the demolition of two existing comfort stations and two ramadas and the construction of a single new comfort station and two new ramadas, which will be fully ADA compliant. The project is located at Carpinteria State Beach and will provide an all new, ADA compliant picnic and rest area for beach goers. The work also includes installation of all new electrical components and upgrades, plumbing and fixtures other related work. The site will also be receiving new ADA compliant picnic tables and barbeques.

Landscaping and Fencing

Landscaping
The scope of this project includes demolition of existing concrete structures, removal of existing landscaping, construction of new CMU retaining walls, installation of new AC pavement, installation of electrical conduits and new lighting poles, and other appurtenant work.
Gate Replacement/Installation
Excavation
The project required the construction of a 43,500 square foot subterranean parking structure. With our expertise, we installed shoring to minimize the quantity of excavation and backfill. We performed mass excavation and constructed reinforced concrete footings, masonry walls, slab-on-grade and a reinforced concrete deck, including water proofing of the retaining walls.
Retaining Walls
Mr. Edward Parsanian, Has over twenty years of experience in public works contracting and private development in Southern California. As principal owner of Parsam Construction, Edward is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget and to the satisfaction of the client. In his 20-years of experience as a General Contractor in the Southern California region, Mr. Parsanian has developed an expertise in public infrastructure construction specializing in sound attenuation walls and retaining wall barriers. Mr. Parsanian has successfully overseen and managed construction projects in excess of $30 Million.
