Pecan Tree Dental, PLLC

Facility lovely. Staff pleasant. My problem is with how things are done. I called bc I had a broke tooth or my filling came out. Asked for an appt to get this fixed. They scheduled me same day. I was very grateful! X-ray was done. Dentist came in greeted me, reported problem and the fix (a filling), then left. Assistant told me cost and asked if I wanted to have the work done today. I was perplexed for a moment then thought she's asking because of the cost. I said yes to getting filling today...then she apologized...don't have time to today. I was scheduled to have the tooth looked at not fixed bc they don't know what needed to be done. Now, I'm dissatisfied! My whole point for cancelling my morning plan was to have my tooth fixed not to have a 2 minute interaction with the dentist and her to say what was needed and and me be dismissed to be seen another day!
I give 2 stars for professionalism because the 3 stars proper expectation wasn't set when I scheduled my appointment.

I had a wisdom tooth that I couldn't bare! I called in, and they took me in right away, extracted the tooth at the same appointment, and had me feeling better all from just calling to see what we could do. Dr. Smith is amazing and really kept me comfortable for someone who has never had a tooth extracted. Really enjoy him and his team. Thank you for helping me feel better when I really needed it!

Great practice. All the fine folks at Pecan Tree are friendly and professional. I have been a patient since well before Dr Smith took over the practice and look forward to using them for many more years and always recommend them to anyone looking for a dental practice in the area.
