I went to this dealership with an advertisement that says they are willing to pay 120% of my NADA trade value. Knowing what they want for the vehicle on the lot, and how much my trade is worth, I go to the dealer. I drive the truck I wanted, and then they balusters my trade in.

They offered me $4000 LESS than it's worth, instead of the 120% in the ad, and my truck is in immaculate condition.

So, with that valuation being so low, it made about a $10k difference in the numbers making the deal undoable.

Shady tactics to bring you in and get your hopes up based on that is why I'm giving them a bad review. Be warned going here.

We bought a 2015 Ram 11/2015. It is now 5/23. On 5/18 (after 5pm), my truck started going berserk.

1.My speedometer needle dropped to zero randomly. A ding sounded then the needle went back to the right place.

2.I was on the freeway, my truck just shutdown. After I turned the key off and back on, it began working again.

3.My touchscreen decided it also doesn't want to work. It will choose when, or if, it decides to come on.

4.A brake warning light came on... no clue why. Brakes at least worked (Thank God).

5.My "Need Oil Change Soon" light comes on now... I need an oil change, but this place is so bad I am scared to go through with it.

My call history:

I called on Thurs. 5/19 in the morning, they would call me back.

I called on Fri. 5/20 in the morning, they would call me back.

I called on Mon. 5/23 at about noon, they have to call me back "because they are short staffed and I can only speak to an advisor".When I told her I have been calling, she said no one entered in the message.

I bought a 2016 Viper ACR and a Jeep Summit at the same time about $ 190,000 of cars. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership, STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Don't know what happened to this place. Sales & service used to be outstanding. Must be under new management last couple years because they suck now.

Bought their oil change package with my vehicle and the past year, 3 times I've gone in I have waited over 1 1/2 hours for an "express" oil change. Went in yesterday and was told wait would be 3+ hours just to change oil!?!!!

Be warned - Don't buy the oil change package or get service here. Rude customer service & unreasonable waits. You're better off going to local Kwik Kar or Jiffy Lube and get a $25 oil change in less than 20 mins (as it should be)

I received a mailer from Grapevine DCJ with several offers, among them was 0% for 72 months as well as $4000 down payment assistance (the 0% offer required a max LTV of 90% and a minimum credit score of 720, but both offers were good to be used together. If I used the $4k down payment voucher, I couldn't take advantage of any other rebates). I was looking for a brand new Grand Cherokee V6 4x4 with a sunroof. They didn't have the car there and I was told it would be at the lot on Monday (I went out there on a Friday evening). When it came down to numbers, I was told I needed $7800 and change to be eligible for the 0% offer for 72 months. But since I was about $1k short of that mark, they offered me 3.9% which I refused due to my 790 + credit score. Then they offered me 3.5% which I refused as well. As I was leaving the dealership way past 11 PM, the finance director came out and told me that he'll work on the deal over the weekend. The salesman called on Monday and left me a voicemail saying "boss says you win." I called him back and the offer was 2.9% which I refused as well. I visited their website and noticed that they were offering $6100 off MSRP on 2014 Grand Cherokees. I informed the salesman about this and how the $6100 off MSRP will make me eligible for the 0% for 72 months, since that’ll put me at around $8200, an amount that includes my net trade. He told me he would talk to the manager and call me back but he never did. I decided to reach out to the internet manager who emailed me back and told me the car I was looking at had already sold. First of all, I was looking for a brand new car with rather standard features at a dealership that sells these cars. I asked her about that and she said they can't give the car away. I stated that the $6100 off MSRP and 0% offers were good together since there was nothing on the website or on the voucher that said I couldn't combine those two offers. I realize that if I use the $6100 off MSRP I wouldn't be able to use the $4000 down payment voucher, per the fine print. But the 0% and the $6100 were valid together due to the fine print not saying otherwise and due to the fact that the dealership was previously ok with using $4k and 0% together. The only reason I went to the dealership in the first place was because of the mailer. My frustration is that they won't give me the deal I qualify for but would rather give me a higher interest rate, which is completely wrong. One of the many ways dealerships make money is based on the interest rate a client accepts. Banks will offer a rate to the dealership along with a rate cap. This means a bank can offer 1% with a 3 point max, which means the dealership can turn around and charge up to 4% and guess who gets to keep that 3%. This dealership gave me a printout that listed $995 – destination charge – as part of the price of the vehicle. However, the bill of sale had a $500 fee on it with no explanation. When I asked about that $500, I was told it’s a fee the dealership charges “to locate a vehicle.” Even though I got them to waive that unnecessary fee, I ended up not buying from them since they will not offer the deal I qualify for 150%. Please be careful when doing business with these guys as they’re guilty of fee packing, rate hiking and many other shady practices.

Don't go here. Go on up the road to buy a Jeep or Dodge. I stopped one morning at 7:15 to ask the service department to change my bulb in my rear brake light so that I wouldn't get rear-ended or stopped by a policeman. He told me it would be at least a two hour wait!! Really?? To pop in a new light bulb? I explained that my husband was out of town & I really didn't feel safe driving like that . He didn't care. It's the 2nd time I have had trouble there recently. I went to O'Reilly and had a new bulb in 2 minutes - not 2 hours! O'Reilly does not stand to gain much for helping me. They are just helpful, nice people. Grapevine Jeep just lost a sell of a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I am on my 3rd Jeep Grand Cherokee and I'm ready for number 4. I will be going on up the road to Moritz Jeep. Thanks for nothing Grapevine Jeep! My business nor my safety were important enough to you for someone to spend a couple of minutes on me. The nerd with the clip board could have done it. I almost could have done it myself, but didn't know how to get that big ol' tail light cover off. Pitiful service.

Your credit information is at ...

Your credit information is at risk of being shown to other customers!!! Do not waste your time here. This place should be shut down. I have never seen such unprofessional, and quite possibly, illegal, behavior in a car dealership in my life. If I could have given it less than one star, I would have. The only good thing at this dealership was our salesman, James. He seemed very nice and professional. However, shortly after arriving, we heard what we thought were a couple of guys joking around. But when the curse words started flying, we realized there was no kidding. How unprofessional! Then, I suppose the parties involved in the argument were taken into an office (with all glass walls) and it looked like they were having group prayer. That was also a bit odd, but compared to how we were treated later, a bit of prayer could have been good on our side.

Here's where the scam started. The guy doing the financing paperwork asked my husband about his credit. We both have very good credit and I got a great rate on my car from another dealership. He asked, on a scale of 1-10, where my husband's credit lies and my husband said a 10. I said a 9.8, because our credit scores are not yet at 900, but they're not in the 600s or even low 700s. He said that they determine your credit worthiness by taking an average of the three major credit bureau scores. We knew what my husband's three scores were and thus we knew the average. This guy comes back with a quote of $675/month for 84 months, on a car that's not even $26k! What kind of financing is that? Turns out, they wanted to give my husband 18% APR. Ridiculous! That's nearly 9 times my APR. We were not having any part of that. Then the guy comes back with someone else's credit score of 666. First of all, that wasn't my husband's name on that form and the guy kept insisting that the financing was based off of my husband's actual credit score, not the one he "accidentally" picked up off the copier. So we saw another man's credit information. Then the guy comes back a second time with either someone else's credit score or a completely made-up one; this time 716. Then the guy who was actually doing the numbers in another room comes out. First, he gives us a new quote for the monthly payments. It's still high. He insists it's at 5.9% APR. I used an app on my phone to reverse calculate the APR and discovered that it was actually 9.5%. (As a side note, I am a chemist. I can do math all the way up through calculus 3 and I verified that the app I was using was mathematically sound when I downloaded it.) At this point, I figured either he is incompetent at math or he was lying. Either way, they would not be getting our money. Then, the guys says that my husband’s first car loan didn’t even show up on all three major credit reports. That is crap and I told this guy that yes, his loan was on all three. At that point, I got up and walked out and said I was done. My husband and I not only get our credit scores every year, but we also get our credit reports every year and go over them with a fine-toothed comb. We keep the print outs in a folder in our office and have immediate access to them for reference. We know what is on all three.

After I left, my husband kept negotiating with them and once he got them down to a decent payment level, he walked away. We ended up going to a Chevy dealership nearby and got a wonderful new Camaro that, personally, I like better than the Challenger my husband originally wanted. And the deal we got on it was amazing.

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE!!!!

I came in and pruchased what they called a "Certified Pre-Owned" 2012 Durango. As every day passes I discover how this dealership screwed me over by adding things in that we never discussed, on top of selling me a 'lemon'...

1) On the seventh day of ownership, my Check Engine light comes on. I took the car in for service and discover that cylinder2 was mis-firing and needed to be relpaced. Another 6 days later, I got my car back.

2) Salesperson, Jose Bernal, is either new, incompetent or both. Could not answer half my questions on the vehicles. His manager, Michael Ivey, is apparently just as incompetent or just a great con-artist.

When I test-drove the vehicle. there were new floormats in the trunk area of the vehicle. As we know, cars are purchased AS-IS. This means the floormats should have been included.

When I received the keys for delivery, I noticed the floormats were removed. When I asked where my floormats went, I was told "they do not match my car". I asked for some sort of floormats because that is part of the 'deal' I agreed to. Salesperson Jose Bernal told me he would ask his manager and get back to me. I also realized that I was only given one key. I asked for the spare key (since the vehicle is equipped with a keyless Key Fob and is completely dependant on a working unit). Jose once again said "he would talk to his manager and get back to me. I had him write his committments to get me spare key and floormats on a business card.

TWO WEEKS later, after I called Jose twice, he informed me that his manager said "The floormats are not included due to sanitary issues" and "there is no spare key". I was upset, but I asked if I could order a replacement key fob?. Jose replied "wow! Those are really expensive.". I asked again if I could order replacement through GrapevineDCJ and he stated "I had to go through manufacturer to order".

Within 15mins on the Internet, I purchased a new set of Dodge Durango floormats & a replacement key fob from DallasDCJ dealership for less than $150.

Why did GrapevineDCJ jerk me around for less than $150 worth of equipment I was entitled to????... AND why couldn't they have at least hooked me up with their parts department to order like I did with DallasDCJ???? I would have paid out of pocket the same way I ended up doing. GrapevineDCJ just gave me the runaround for no reason!

3) Since I was experiencing all these issues with GrapevineDCJ Sales Department and the mechanical issues with the vehicle, I started going through my stack of paperwork.... You would not believe what I found...

Although I understand the job of the finance rep, I expect some level of professioanlism and integrity. GrapevineDCJ's finance rep, Will Schmidt told me during the paperwork process that "since I was a preferred returning customer, they had some deals to hook me up the month of December". Mr Schmidt stated "I'm going to hook you up with 4 months of oil changes." If someone said this to you, what would you think it meant??? Mr Schmidt never stated a price. He never said I was paying for anything. He said "...I'm going to hook you up...". After checking my paperwork, I discovered he added $399 worth of oil changes to my financing which I will paying for in addition to the interest chanrges it incurs.

After further review of paperwork, I also discovered Mr Schmidt added and additional $1500+ (plus interest) in Life & Diability Insurance that he cleverly lumped in to our Gap insurance discussion. Mr Schmidt never stated a price for any Life/Disability insurance nor was it discussed in any detail at all.

HIGHLY DISGUSTED WITH GRAPEVINEDCJ's SALES SCHEMES & TACTICS

These people are not competent...

These people are not competent to be called a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership service. Their service advisers and service manager must be on some kind of commission. One time they tried to sell me a $300 brake job when i had just had an independent do it 3 months before. Then they tried to deny my warranty from Chrysler on a defective convertible top. Be sure to check other's comments. I am not alone!

11000 rebate scam

Be carefull about 11,000 rebate on RAM trucks.it is a sale gimmick. They will give 11,000 off but they won't tell you about dealer install and some worthless 3 years maintanance deal which is 6,000 bucks. So in reality you are only getting 6,000 off the MSRP not 11,000 .I was at Grapevine dodge for 4hrs and when it came to signing paperwork I noticed that the truck instead of being 25700 dollars was more like 30,000 so when I asked how come it was 5,000 more then we agreed on they xame back and said how 5000 includes dealer install.Plain and simple I was lied to and I left.I got the same truck with center console shifter and bed liner which grapevine dodge did not come with for 27,200 from another dealership.Be carefull this guys are dishonest and check the papers before you place your signature.

What a joke, I was very unhapp...

What a joke, I was very unhappy with the way I was treated here. I was there for over 5 hours trying to get my deal in order, not only did they take forever from being short staffed but they kept changing the numbers around, and taking just too long to assist me even with the smallest thing. They didn't want to give me a fair number on my vehicle trade in and just kept trying to screw me with the deal. I ended up going else where and was treated better, assisted quicker, and paid less for a better vehicle. I will never go back there.

Don't go here! The few service advisers they have and the service department may be good but the management and sales associates are just awful! I overheard one sales guy making a comment about my legs that made me very upset and then the GM himself was yelling curse words at his employees! I couldn't let my Daughter continue to listen to this big guy in glasses say "G** D*** this and F***" that. I left as soon as possible. The price they were asking anyways was way above what it should have been. What an awful experience with very terrible people!
