Caliber Collision

I brought my car in after being hit from behind causing damage to the rear bumper as well as the rear lift gate on my Subaru. The repair took a week longer than they said it would. Then, once I got it back, the spoiler fell off the lift gate within 2 miles of driving it away from the repair shop. Their lifetime "guarantee" did not cover the repair, because they said it had been "forcibly removed" even though it had only sat in my locked garage between the time I got the car back and the time it fell off. Not only was the quality of the work bad, but so was the customer service. USAA had to step in and repair the spoiler because this body shop didn't live up to it's guarantee, so USAA did it for them.



Adding to the problems, just last week the latch on the lift gate stopped working, just 3 months later. When I took it in, again they said that it was not covered by their guarantee. So, I'm not sure what the guarantee covers, but don't count on much. I've had this car for 8 years and had no issues until Global Collision got their hands on it. All I know is that I got hit, and it's going to end up costing me money out of my pocket to make my car whole again. Do not use this body shop.
