I’ve been a customer for over ten years. They have fixed three cars of mine, plus my family friends and people I work with. They’re so nice and they have great prices. The other reviewer Chris on here is linking and posting things that aren’t even this business. I want to say this is This is the only shop I will ever take my car to!

Accurate Transmissions is in bad standing according to the state of Maryland. https://egov.maryland.gov/BusinessExpress/EntitySearch/BusinessInformation/F04516449
The owner Keith Gilbert according to the state of Maryland had previous issues.

Accurate Transmissions isn’t even operating on commercial property. Here you can see it’s on agricultural land. So, there is a potential tax issue, a building code issue, a pollution issue and a safety issue.

I got screwed by these people.
Can't get them to tow the vehicle to their garage in a reasonable time.
Can't get them to trouble shoot problems in a reasonable time.
Can't get them to give an accurate estimate of time money or expenses for the repair.
They don't even get written permission to work on the vehicle & jack up the price of the repair. If you don't pay it they put a lien on your vehicle
Questions to ask before taking your vehicle here.
If the average customer who has been strung along like me for 3-6 months for a repair at Accurate Transmissions, is that because when Keith tried to buy their vehicle at a low price and sell it for profit, but they told him no too? Would this be considered a privilege as Keith Gilbert previously mentioned or predatory?
If a mechanic disassembles and rebuilds an engine more than one time in a repair, is their lack of trouble shooting skills, education and skills now the customer’s expense?
A 50-mile test run?
How can you describe anything done here as accurate?
If you take someone’s sole source of transportation hostage for 3 months for a repair job that should last a week, how would this not affect their job stability? Would your boss keep you if you didn’t show up for 3 months?
If a full blown custom-built SEMA car can be built from scratch in a week as seen on TV why would it take over 3 months to repair a truck?
