Halethorpe Pharmacy

These folks were great! After getting the runaround at Rite Aid only to find out they didn't have in stock what I needed and couldn't/wouldn't order it for me, I found these guys. What a pleasure! They not only carried what I needed, they had two different types and the pharmacist came over to me and explained the difference. Also, while I was there, the cashier greeted a number of people (obviously regulars) by name! Beat that Rite Aid!

Absolutely the best service you can imagine. The pharmacists (Dr. George and Dr. Paul, as I call them) are always there to assist, and they take the time to get to know you and your family, as their patients. In my mom case they stopped us from giving her medication that would have caused havoc due to interaction with one of her hearth medications, and in case of my child, when she was little, they caught that the prescribed dose was for 4 year olds not 2 year olds. They are also very involve in the community and community efforts, and are not one of those big chains, soulless places. We moved half an hour away from the pharmacy more than a year ago, and we still go there, as I know we can trust them not to make a mistake.

This is a real local pharmacy and these guys are great. It is a real pharmacy and they pay attention to the drugs that they give you, preventing possible dangerous interactions. They know the drugs and their side effects better than my doctors, and have helped me considerably with these problems. And the people who work there are generally cheerful and happy to help with all the usual problems with health insurance. This is a great place and I am a loyal customer.
