My Mom had to get a transmission sensor replaced on her car. Her car sat at Carolina auto for over a month !!!!!!! When they finally replaced the sensor it had messed up her radio, and it will not work until a code is punched in to reprogram the radio. That was almost a year ago and Carolina auto still hasn't corrected the problem. Then mom took her car back to them because her air conditioning wasn't working properly. They replaced a part on the air conditioning. A few weeks later... the air quit blowing cool air again. AND....her vehicle also messed up once again after having the transmission sensor replaced. I honestly don't believe that not 1 but 2 new parts that was replaced on her vehicle can go bad. I'm wondering if they actually put new parts on her vehicle..... I'm wondering if they put used parts on her vehicle and charged her for new parts. I'm hoping to find mom a reputable mechanic to do any work on her vehicle in the future. I'm upset and I feel that Carolina Auto is taking advantage of my mom because she is an elderly single woman. I honestly wouldn't reccomend for anyone to take their vehicles to Carolina auto in Icard NC for any vehicle repairs, due to what I have noticed about the slack business practices and due to them causing other problems like my moms radio not being programmed back in. Being charged for not 1 but 2 different repairs that have had to be repaired AGAIN !!!!!!! NOPE !!!!!!! I FEEL THAT CAROLINA AUTO IS CHARGING PEOPLE FOR NEW PARTS AND IS INSTALLING USED PARTS.
