Endologix develops and manufactures minimally invasive treatments for vascular diseases. The company, working with leading practitioners to develop technology solutions for life-threatening medical conditions, is engaged in the development, manufacture, sales and marketing of minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of aortic aneurysms. Once an aneurysm develops, it continues to enlarge and if left untreated becomes increasingly susceptible to rupture. Endologix's patented Powerlink System is a unibody self-expandable device with a durable frame made of stainless steel alloy covered with an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene graft. The one-piece bifurcated design featuring a fully supported stent cage was developed to overcome the many shortcomings associated with earlier-generation endoluminal graft devices. Endologix is headquartered in Irvine, Calif.
