The School did have some low times with staffing troubles. The School has added new members to the great ladies who were already here. 2015 is already exciting and happy.

I appreciate the time and patience these teachers give the kids. My 3 year old was afraid of attending school because of a previous experience in a different school, but thanks to their fun curriculum he is now excited every morning. I love hearing all the fun stories he tell when I pick him up.

Hi. All you need to do is look inside this center. My husband and I arrived for a tour and we heard children singing in Spanish and then a little later in Chinese.
The feelings of happiness showed on the faces of the little ones.
My child has attended for 6 weeks now and you should see all the projects he has built and brought home. Happy? Yes we are.

This is good and reasonably priced daycares in the Las Colinas area. The staff members are attentive and caring towards the children. Over the last few years, the curriculum has improved and has become more structured. I would recommend this facility to parents that are seeking quality care and education for their child without breaking the bank.

Overall

Wonderful daycare and the curriculum is awesome. My two kids attend this daycare from 1 year old and 3 years old, they love to go to this daycare - I had my kids registered to other daycare, but my son ( elder kid) refuse to go after a week). The facts I like this daycare -
1) clean and neat environment and classrooms are well organized.
2) they have diverse curriculum such as Chinese, Spanish, music( sing and dance) math, craft etc. they also post the daily class pictures and videos in Facebook, which established connection with parents and daycare, I know what my kids are doing even I'm at work.
3) kids are happy- this is the biggest concern as a parent. The staff in LCCA are very nice, patient and professional skills. They know kids very well, most of the time, when I pick up my kids, teachers told me some details about my kids during the days.
4)Indoor gym- this is a big plus since it's too hot in summer and too cold in winter outside in DFW
5) extended hours. I'm a single mom with a full time job, extended hous is a great benefit for me, I can drop kids early to start work early or no need to rush I off at 5pm. This daycare provides breakfast, lunch and snacks . My kids like Ms Elma's cook.
6)flexible payment options.

My infant started going to this facility at 6 weeks of age. I was impressed with the love and care provided by this center staff. There has not been a turnover of staff since my child started here (over a year now), and this has made it easier on my child as far as consistency is concerned.

Overall

As a former teacher who taught at the school for less than a week, I felt the school was more for disciplining than it was for teaching. The staff at the school is more concerned about the parents pocketbook than they are for educating the kids and letting the parents know that they kids are not behaving properly. Ms Ellen and Mr. John who are administrative staff don't support the staff in making sure the parents know the kids are not behaving, thus leaving the teachers to have to deal with a bunch of children who are constantly screaming, kicking, spitting, talking back and not following basic instruction. They use candy all the time as a condition in order for the kids to behave which makes it worse. Ms. Alma, who is the cook, hits and yells at the kids and lies to the children telling them that she is going to call their mom and dad if they don't do what she asks. She is rude to her coworkers and

is extremely mean to the children. There is way too much the school can do to educate the kids except they are literally babysitting the bad ones, thus causing the kids who are actually behaved to miss out on a lot of fun and well needed academics for kindergarten. They need to call it Las Colinas Baby sitting service for bad kids and not Las Colinas academy. Be honest with the parent when their child misbehaves that way the parent can get it under control now and not later on. If you want your child educated and have a smile on their face, DO NOT send them to Las Colinas.

The teachers are superb! I had both my kids at this school and could not be happier. My daughter has learned so much from her teachers and is actually excited to go to school each day! I love that the Director is always willing to work with us instead of being so rigid unlike the prior daycare we were at (Allison's Playhouse).

They don't take care of kids. ...

They don't take care of kids. I put my kid there for a month and they just don't have a basic common sense for education and too much candies and too much TV.

I regret I put my kid there a month. After one month, I had enough.

I pulled out my kid right away.
