Jonesboro Assisted Living Center

This place is okay if your loved one is high functioning. However, if your senior has diminishing medical or dementia issues, keep your loved one away from this place. They have no clue about appropriate senior care. My grandmother became septic at this facility because of neglect. They also hire mean and abrasive caretakers. I suspect some abuse was going on here with some patients. Buyer beware!!!

My Mom has been there twice once with a minor stroke and she was in re-hab they worked very hard with her and got her back to about 90%, and she came back home to us. Then about 2 years later she had a severe stroke and she has been there for a litle over 3 years. The nurses are very good to her, she is always clean, and her room is clean and orderly. The nursing home does not have any ordors, as the patients are kept clean and do not sit with soiled diapers. My Mom's entire left side is paralized and I feel they take very good care of her. The nurse turn over is not bad and they know their patients and care about them. If something minor happens they call me immediately to inform me. I am envolved with her care plan meetings and they let me know what meds she is on and if any changes have been made. I do not worry about my Mother as I know she is in good hands. I have told many friends about Jonesboro Nursing and Rehab and have given them a glowing report. I do not regret sending her here and now my Mom considers this her home. She is content and well adjusted.

I give 1 star because its the lowest rating! I tried 0 but not allowed so here is why: This place is so gross! My grandmother was there for 2 months before we moved her out. Thats only because we had to give a 30 day notice! She was ALWAYS sitting in her own urine & out in the hall in her wheelchair! These people charge an arm & leg to care for your family and give them discount service! Our family has moved our loved one out! Please go do a tour and look into where you are placing your loved one!
