If you don't like it just dnt come back. Just like a restaurant why waste your time writing a bad reveiw on this business. That's what wrong with our BLACK PEOPLE we are so quick to put our people down you will never see a white person put race business down.

I am a customer of Touched by an Angel (2 ½ yrs) and haven’t had a bad experience, but I do want to leave a comment.
Providing good customer service should not be contingent upon your race or national origin, but upon your wanting “repeat” customers. It doesn’t matter what color of the hand the money comes from as long as the money is the color “green” that’s what spends.
If you’re in business to make a profit, then you’re supposed to treat the customer as you would want a business to treat you. When a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of your business and they take the time to make you aware, that should be viewed as an opportunity to improve. You (as a business owner) should NEVER take offense and respond in the manner that you did.
You should want customers to be satisfied with the service that your business provides so they will tell their family and friends to COME TO your business not send them somewhere else!
Not everyone that has patronized Touched by an Angel (Uppr R’vdle Rd) is a dissatisfied customer. With a lot of businesses lacking in customer service these days, you can make your business stand out with consistently improving on customer service skills.
Bottom line, treat people the way you want to be treated. Don’t lash out when a customer criticizes your business. Your stylist’s skills are on point. The complaints I’ve read seem to be the way the customers were treated (customer service).
Erica, your response was not professional and I’m sure that’s not the image you want assocated with your business. Just a word of advice, should you come across anymore dissatisfied customers, you should apologize for their dissatisfaction and thank them for taking the time to comment. Don’t become defensive. View the comments as an opportunity to improve your business’ customer service skills.

I enjoyed the business they were not only professional but great customer service, they made me feel at comfortable and most all my stylists her vibe awesome and made me feel confident not to mention she slayed me baby and they will always have my business over all.... Shout out my stylist Ms Tee I'm an slaaaaay

Well I liked it

Touched by angel is a hidden gem imo. It's located in a shopping center. The staff were friendly enough. The braids only took like 15-20 minutes and the girl braiding was ok. They were tight but I don't mind that. My stylist got my sew in with complete closure done in under an hr and I liked the style. At one point t while she was doing my closure she pressed down really hard and then spritz ed it and it hurt. Feel like she could've warned me. Also they don't accept credit cards so the receptionist had to walk me to the little store in the plaza so that I could use the atm. Didn't like having to pay the atm fee but oh well. I know for next time. I liked my hair and it was done in 90 minutes.

Upper Riverdale Touched by an Angel

My head was touched by an ameture and I'm highly upset being that I paid fifty dollars for a sew in and the next week the braids underneath weren't holding up and the tracks were extremely loose. I went back in the owner tightened it for me which I was grateful for and told me to come back to have it re done another day. I felt like a well respected customer. When I called to book she said she'd check the book to see when was the last time O came in and would call me back. She hasn't, and when I texted her to confirm I received no reply. Save your money and go somewhere that's worth your gas and money!

My View.

The salon was okay. I'm really used to going into salon to get my hair done. I must admitt I was a bit nervous going into the salon after reading the review. The salon was actually pretty great. I got a fantastic sewin!! I'm an prude when it comes to my sewins. But it amazing what a great job they did. I told the girl I wanted all four bundles of hair I had in my hair. She was shocked because she had never put 4bundles in a sewin. She told me she'd do her best; the results were absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and open. They kept me laugh and absolutely pleased the entire time.

I went to the salon on Upper Riverdale Road to tonight. The Stylist slung relaxer in my eye while doing my hair! We spent 15 minutes trying to rinse the lye out! I was so nervous and worried I told her to just rinse me out so i could get to the Dr. She blow dried my hair, nothing else, then told me to go see the Manager. I told him I was leaving to go to the Dr. He said fine but you have to pay full price for you hair or go he would call the police! I was in schlock! I told him I would pay, which I did. Now I can't sleep worrying that I won't have any repercussions from this. I called the police myself, my eye is still sore.

After reading others reviews I almost missed my blessing this place is not the best but the sylist I went to did a GREAT JOB Phyllicia located in the Jonesboro area

she was very perfessional and I really like her work. She did me a sew in it looks so natural I will forever go there for sevice.

Good prices...not Aveda

Okay so this salon does not have the customer service of a higher end Buckhead salon but nor does it have it's prices. I have been going to TBAA for nearly a year now and I like it. I only get a wash and set whichis $10 and $8 on Wednesday! !!!who can complain about that. He'll with prices this low, you can deal with the crowds and loose talk. With any thing, you have to find a system. I go to Ron. He is the best and his hair washes are amazing!!!! They let me use my own shampoo products which is not an option at other salons, and I go during the week or on Sunday to avoid the crowds. Im in and out in about two hours during most visits. So although I understand some of the other points of views, I have to take it with a grain of salt. I get my hair done every week because the prices are so low.

You Get What You Paid For

okay yeah the business is black owned and its not the best well managed and kept up but the people that are there are some what customer friendly,I mean if you don't want to deal or have this experience then the minute you step in there you should leave,you get what you pay for If you want a shop high end and more friendly as some people may say then go to a shop,that has prices in the high 100's for the same style you can get for half of that,I went and yeah it's not the best but the stylist that did mine.Was Great.And from what I can see so were the others that were there.I only paid $50 for mine they stay true to their prices and you get the same quality of styling that you would get near $200 at other places.So here's some advice if you dont like the service then don't go back if you don't like the shop then don't go back.Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble of being disappointed or angry that things didn't work out the way you wanted it.

In My opinion Touch by Angel was a Very good experience to me and my hair came out Wonderful and I'll be going back there again when I want a new style

Hell NO!!!!!

I went to this place and wanted to choke myself. I arrived at 2:00 p.m and didn't leave until 8:45p.m. Everybody was talking about everybody. No body can tell you how long you was going to be there nothing. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS at all. This is the worst place to get your hair done. The prices are good but if you want good customer service then run from this place.
