AUTOTRUCK AUTO SALES INC

On 12/29/2020 I gave Mr Sergio Bozo a certified check for $11,800. I was in a bad accident just one week before and my previous truck was a total loss.

I need a truck for the work that I do. I took time off work to drive to Kissimmee from Tampa where I live to make this purchase. Sergio agreed that I would have my mechanic do a thorough inspection of the truck when I got back to Tampa. If there were any major concerns Sergio agreed that he would either take the truck back or put me in a good truck.

Before I reached Tampa from Kissimmee the day of the purchase the check engine light came on and a "grinding" sound could be heard coming from underneath the rear of the vehicle. when I went to turn on the headlights because it was getting dark I found there were no headlights on this truck. I called Sergio immediately and asked if I could just bring the truck back. He stated that he had already cashed the check that I gave him for the truck and asked me to go home and follow through with the inspection with my mechanic.

I learned the emissions system had been gutted and the catalytic converters were only outer casing. This alone represented $3,000 in repairs. The grinding sound coming from the back of the truck was the rear differential. The entire undercarriage including gas tank straps, front suspension, the bed and all 4 wheel hubs/bearings are rusted so badly the truck is not safe to drive. Oddly enough when I reported all of this to Sergio the next day he completely changed his position and refused to take any responsibility.

UPDATE: On January 23rd 2021 the truck stranded me and my family on the side of the road. The rear end completely locked up. I had to have the truck towed with money that I did not have. Now I have no vehicle, no money and no way to maintain my job to support my family. Please avoid Sergio Bozo and Auto truck Auto Sales at all costs. This man has no conscience in his business practices reflect that.
