Overall

Came to look at a van seen on web site but was already sold. Saw another we really liked - salesman was very knowledgeable about all the features this van had to offer. We took it for a test drive, liked it and bought it.

This was my first auto financing experience for my first ever brand new vehicle. I had been to one dealership prior to driving 1.5 hours to the Lapeer dealership, and let me just say, the service provided to me by both Sherry and Deb was phenomenal. After my first encounter at the other dealership, I thought I will never find someone who will listen to my wants and needs in both the vehicle and financing. Sherry & Deb proved me wrong! Driving from my work in Detroit to Lapeer during rush hour traffic is definitely a hassle, but one made worth it by the result of my encounter with two very knowledgeable employees.



They worked with my financing, provided me options of vehicles that fit my budget, and I left your dealership as a new life-long customer. I know that when any of my family or friends ask if I have any recommendations, I will let them know the drive to Jim Riehl's Friendly Chrysler in Lapeer is worth it because the service is unmatched anywhere else.

Overall

Great Wrangler, liked the salesman although he's new and not very knowledgable. Salesman promised full warranty but sale only included protection package (and only the crappy parts of that). Invoice price was higher at time of delivery then at time of purchase (10 days prior) and quoted APR was not originally part of the deal. I have the feeling I was being taken for a fool. I am sad to say, I will NOT recommend this dealership to others. So much for home town pride.

Friendly has a great oil change program which I have used for my Buick, Mercury and now my GMC Acadia. It is quick, convenient and they treat you great while you wait. They have a comfortable waiting area with TV, popcorn, water or coffee drinks on the house. You can view the new cars or browse thru magazines. They also have a small play room for children as they prefer not to sit still in a chair. All my visits for an oil change have been quick, in and out within a half an hour or less. Everyone is friendly and they treat you with respect. I give this Dearship 2 thumbs up

Overall

The rear deck of my mini-van does not go up all the way when it is cold. I took it in to the dealer and it went up all the way as it was then inside and warmer. They did not fix it. When I arrived home it would not go up all the way. It goes about 3/4 of the way up. I think the struts need to be changed as there is no adjustment.

The dealer did fine with the other two problems; tire sensors and transmission shifting.

Will always support my country and buy American

I have to say that i have bought multiple vehicles from Friendly Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Lapeer and in Warren. They really are the friendliest dealer around. I have never been jammed up to buy anything that I did not want to, I have purchased Extended service contracts on all of my vehicles and have read them over to be sure they have the coverage that I want and am willing to pay for. I have also been to both locations for service work on multiple occassions and have been very satisfied.



Buyer beware should be if you don't buy American and you buy from a foreign Manufacture than maybe you should move overseas and see what the rest of the country is like. You just might buy your way out of a job in the good ole USA.

Let Down...Forign Cars, here we come

Very disapointed in my purchase experience. I was duped into the extended Waranty Plan. Infact it is the absolute best plan available. Cost almost 3 grand. BE AWARE, anything you have done is going to cost additional $$ tests, added parts, and so on. The deductable I carry is 100$, which will get lost in the 'Sales Luster' during the purchase, has let me high and dry. Keep in mind anything and everything they do is to make money. This time, I spent an additional 100 for fixes not covered under the coverage.



came in for an engine light and some not so cool air. And am leaving 200$ more in the negitive. Have to ask this, how many times has a "recharge" fixed your air con problems permanitly. The Dealer knows this and knows you will back sooner or later to find the leak.............



F-n Redicoulous,.............And this all coming at the time we are in the market for a new family car, been looking at the new Mini Van,.............I should say WAS.....................Cant believe it has come to this.............5 star service MY A$$.............



Forgin Cars are not looking so bad....
