You can also have urinary incontinence if your bladder doesn't empty when it should. This leaves too much urine in the bladder and when too full, urine will leak out when unexpected. Lastly, if there is a blockage to your urethra, urine can build up in the bladder and cause also leaking.

Prostate Cancer
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or BPH, is a condition in which the prostate enlarges as men get older. Over 70% of men in their 60s have BPH symptoms so it is very common1. While BPH is a benign condition and unrelated to prostate cancer, it can greatly affect a man's quality of life.

Ultrasound
HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) is a minimally invasive procedure which offers dramatically reduced side effects. HIFU eradicates prostate cancer through the precision focusing of sound waves to a targeted spot. The process results in the creation of heat due to the interaction between the sound waves and the cancerous tissue to destroy cancer cells.
MRI
In non-clinical testing, the image artifact caused by the device extends approximately 15 mm from the UroLift Implant when imaged with a gradient echo pulse sequence and a 3 Tesla MRI system.
Chemotherapy
After determining how aggressive the bladder cancer is, Urology Center of Las Vegas offers several treatment choices for patients with bladder cancer. These include: HIFU, endoscopic surgery, chemotherapy, and brachytherapy. The treatment depends a lot on how much the cancer has grown. Most bladder cancers are treated.
Radiation Therapy
If surgery is the best option for you, we will perform a prostatectomy to remove the entire prostate. Another option for prostate cancer treatment is radiation therapy. This will be performed by either external beam radiation and/or radiation seed implantation.

Vasectomy
A vasectomy is a surgical procedure that creates permanent infertility. Although it is possible to have the surgery reversed, patients should not have this procedure done until they are positive that they are finished having children. A vasectomy is a safe, outpatient procedure with few side effects, and takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
