Pediatric Care
As we grow, we are always changing and learning. With our Pediatric Care, we work to make sure that your child is going in the direction that is best for them. We will make sure they are up to date on immunizations, screenings depending on age for physical, mental, and developmental health. We can also identify and treat children with learning disabilities such as ADD/ADHD.
Primary Care
This was by far the best appointment I’ve ever had at LFP. Until this appointment, I’ve always had to wait way too long both in the waiting room and the exam room. My opinion continued to erode with each visit. Today, gave me a little faith in the practice. I was called back before my appointment and seen by the provider before my appointment time. First and only time this has happened. Until today, I’ve highly considered moving my primary care medical needs to another practice. I’ll hold off now and see how it goes. Thanks for a great experience today.
Family Practice
The physicians of Lawrenceville Family Practice have taken and passed the examination given by the National Board of Family Practice. The test is retaken every seven to ten years and must be passed to maintain this status. Recertification is mandatory for Board Certified Family Practice Physicians. Our Physician Assistants are also board certified, and our Family Nurse Practitioner is a Masters prepared Family Nurse Practitioner.

Lawrenceville Family Practice is committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality care. We see ourselves as a cross between a traditional family practice office and an urgent care center. While a typical urgent care clinic just treats you for what you have now, we look at your overall health as well as any acute problems to make sure you are as healthy as you can be both today and tomorrow. We believe that providing high-quality care is not only about medical advice that we dispense, but more importantly about the relationships we have with our patients. Colonoscopy
For the average person, there will be no signs of colon cancer which is why screenings are so important. There are three main ways to be screened for colon cancer each with pros and cons. The first is iFOBT which is looking for blood in a small sample of stool. This is the cheapest and fastest which is their pros however, it is also the least accurate and must be repeated yearly. Next is Cologuard which is looking for abnormal DNA in a stool sample. This is more accurate then iFOBT testing, a negative test means nothing else has to be done for three years, no prep has to be done, and in this day and age of Covid it can be from your home. The biggest con about Cologuard is if the test is abnormal one must get a colonoscopy. Which brings up the last way to screen for colon cancer, a colonoscopy. A colonoscopy gives a direct visualization of the colon. The biggest pro is if there are any abnormalities found they can be fully worked up and, in some instances, dealt with while performing the scope. If everything is normal then nothing else is required for ten years for the average risk person, which is another great pro. Now the con that is talked about the most is the time needed, as there is the day of prep as well as the day the colonoscopy is done in either a hospital or outpatient center.
Immunizations
We do Sports, Band, Scouts, Scuba Driving (Dr. Dan is a Rescue Diver and enjoys meeting new and certified divers), and clearance for other activities and for work. We also do school forms including 3300 (Hearing and Vision) and 3231 (Immunizations).

Internal Medicine
Mirnouve Domond, DO, MPH is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Domond received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed the Internal Medicine residency program at Crozer Keystone health system in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in medical school Dr. Domond received Master’s in Public health from Temple University. During which time, Dr. Domond interest and research focused on, interventions to reduce disparities in health outcomes in areas of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Originally from Tampa Bay, Florida, Dr. Domond attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fl where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Micro & Molecular Biology. Dr. Domond currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children and enjoys traveling, cooking, and outdoor festivals.
Colon Cancer
With the death of Chadwick Boseman from Colon Cancer, it brought more attention to a disease that is responsible for the third most cancer-related death in the US. As a large comic nerd, Chadwick’s passing was very upsetting to me. As a doctor, I saw his death as a way to save others by better educating and screening people for the disease that took him because in the end what makes one a superhero is their sacrifice to save others.

Right now, is the time for us to remember the fight with the allies of COVID-19. I urge you to schedule your screenings such as mammography and colonoscopy. Schedule your appointments with your provider to follow up on your diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol. The two main things to prevent and control all these diseases are food and exercise, which have limits during the lockdown. If you do have one of the symptoms of COVID-19, rather than isolating yourself, talk to your provider, and get evaluated and treated to help save your life. Lastly, do not forget about your mental health. My job, as well as my colleagues’ across all fields, is to help you deal with the Invisible Enemy and its Allies, but we need to see you in order to help you.

I really appreciated the availability of having ultrasound equipment in house and I was able to be seen right away. I also so appreciated getting the results of my ultrasound right away and that I didn’t have to wait for “days” to know what we already suspected! They were awesome and I loved how well I was treated.

As the leaves change and thoughts of masks fill our minds, the problem this October is that we are not thinking about Halloween, but rather our daily lives living with COVID-19. Besides Halloween, October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there has not been one more important than this one for some time. COVID has caused breast cancer screenings to be hindered and due to this. The US is behind our normal year-to-date screening mammography secondary to closing normal screening.

Manual Therapy
A DO is a Doctor of Osteopathy. Osteopathic Physicians are fully licensed physicians encompassing all specialties in all 50 states. The DO degree is conferred upon physicians in the same manner as allopathic physicians, MD, after completing 4 years of Medical School and residency training. Osteopathic physicians have additional training performing manipulative therapy for spinal ailments.
