I saw Dr. Roffwarg who immediately pushed me to start taking Accutane. He barely looked at me and did not ask what treatments I have already tried before to treat Acne.
I was told I needed a blood draw before my prescription for Accutane could be placed. I attempted to get my blood drawn in the office. Over the next 35 minutes I went through 7 technicians, 2 attempted sticks, and they had not successfully gotten the blood draw done. The technicians just kept coming in, putting on the tourniquet and tapping at my arm trying to find a vain, taking it off and starting over. After the first failed stick one technician said “I’m not real confident in your veins, I could try that one if you want but I don’t think it will work”. I asked her to get someone else who would be confident to do the blood draw. I have successfully gotten blood drawn dozens of times before from other offices and it usually takes one or two minutes. This was an absolute circus. I had to get up and leave because after the 7 technicians all came to look at me, the 2 attempted sticks and 35 minutes of sitting there I just told them I was leaving.
Do not go here unless you want to be rushed by an uncaring doctor and treated by the most incompetent nursing staff I have ever encountered.
